Photosynthesis matters to me because without it the circle of life would end. Humans absorb the oxygen that plants make and plants absorb the carbon dioxide that humans make. Together they keep animals, plants and people alive. Without photosynthesis we wouldn't have plants, most likely we wouldn't have sun light since that is what run photosynthesis so without the sun there is no photosynthesis, and life as we know it more likely than not wouldn't exist.
This diagram clearly shows how sunlight and carbon dioxide enters the plant in order to properly fuel the plant. It shows where the energy is stored and where it runs through. Also, it shows where sugar and air then exits the plant, thus showing why photosynthesis is important.
